Event Description

Willow Adventure is super excited to offer the inaugural Du-Ruyter Duathlon set for October 11, 2025 in DeRuyter, NY. This Willow Adventure single day event will include a 5K run, 5K kayak (DeRuyter Lake) and finishing with a 5K run back to the start/finish line. This unique Duathlon event will take place simultaneously with the Tromptown Half Marathon & 5K

The Du-Ruyter Duathlon will start in DeRuyter, NY with a 5K run  (5K Course Map) transition at DeRuyter Lake General Store and Rental where you will paddle the 5K course on beautiful DeRuyter Lake. Once completed, hop back on the roads and follow the same 5K run course to the finish line. This event will be scored and awarded with Overall, Masters and Age Group Awards. (Kayak rentals available). 

Post race BBQ and fun @ Shelley's Bar & Restaurant (1678 Cortland Ave., DeRuyter, NY)
