13th Annual 5k Turkey Trot Run/Jog/Walk

Join the Rifle High School Track and Field team in celebrating the 13th Annual Rifle High School Turkey Trot!  Come and join local families and others from around the country for fun where you can run, walk, or jog your way around the course.  Support the Rifle High School Track and Field Team by running a 5k before you partake in all of the wonderful Thanksgiving Day Goodies. We're hosting this FUNraiser in hopes of raising funds for the the upcoming track season. 

Event details and schedule

When: Thanksgiving Day is Thursday, November 28th, 2023. Registration and check-in will start at 7:30 am with the Little Gobbler run starting around 8:45 am and the Big Gobblers start time at 9:00 am.

Where: Deer Field Park, 300 E 30th St, Rifle, CO 81650

Bring warm clothes because the start of the race might be a little chilly and good shoes. The course is on multiple surfaces and some areas might be slick first thing in the morning. The course is accessible to strollers and has the ability to be run, walked or jogged by all. 

Come dressed up in your best costume and potentially win a pie for your team in the best-dressed contest. But more importantly ready to have fun with this fun family/community 5K!
