Event Description
Join us on Thanksgiving Day at 7am for a fun 5K run/walk! Start your day off healthy and bring the family! The race will be at the Cattails Golf Course in Alamosa, come snow or shine - we know how Colorado weather can be! This event is a fun run, so it will not be timed.
- The race begins and ends at Cattails Golf Course in Alamosa.
- Run, walk or wobble the 5K course.....or....Not quite ready for a 5K? We will also have a walking route around the golf course.
- After the run, stop into Knee Knockers for a cup of coffee and snacks!
- Only early bird registrations by 11/10/24 are guaranteed a race T-shirt (unisex sizing). If you don’t receive a shirt, we will have a Turkey Trot canvas tote bag for you! Designed by local artist Lacy McKinley....they are pretty cool!!
- Race day shirt/tote bag pickup begins at 6:30am!
- All Entries will be ONLINE ONLY! Register before you leave home, or use your phone when you arrive. Price $20 adults, $15 for age 17 and under.
- A portion of proceeds from every race entry will be donated to a local charity/cause. We are in search of ideas, so email us with nominations (info@slvsportsandwellness.com).
- Race begins at 7am!
