Event Description

Are you ready to run 13.1 miles along the shores of beautiful Forest Lake? Kirksville, Missouri's FLATS Trail Half Marathon takes racers over hills, rocks, roots, stretches of fast singletrack, and probably some water crossings.

Along with mile after mile of wooded (and lovingly maintained) trails, the point-to-point course offers runners seven well-stocked aid stations, gorgeous views, enthusiastic volunteers to cheer you on (some from boats), and a well-marked course.

At the post-race celebration you'll find custom-designed finishers medals, the softest t-shirts in the whole universe, commemorative race posters, gorgeous course maps, pizza, beverages, FLATS pint glasses for the top three finishers from each age group, prize money for the top three female, male, and nonbinary finishers, a complimentary post-race stretch clinic, and much more.

And after you finish you'll share the finish line with other runners who are celebrating their first half marathon or trail race, veteran trail runners who have discovered their new favorite race, and runners who come back year after year.

Discounted registration through September 6 or until 175 runners register! All proceeds go to the Forest Lake Area Trail System to support trail building and maintenance in Adair County, Missouri.
