Rock Creek Track Club's Track Tune-Up

Event Description

The Rock Creek Track Club Track Tune-Up will be held at Erie HS's track.

Rock Creek Track Club's (RCTC) Track Tune-Up serves a few missions:

1K, 2K, and 3K Races: The origin of the entire event is serving club athletes' need for a tune-up, stay-sharp effort between the USATF Junior Olympics Region 10 XC meet (November 16th) and the USATF Junior Olympics XC National Championships (December 14th). With distances short of their normal race lengths, it's a chance for athletes to get a feel for what paces they'll be hitting at sea-level for Nationals
High School Mile Races: These mile races provide ideal opportunities for athletes to PR on the track while they're XC fit! It's also a great opportunity to stay sharp for RunningLane or NXN.
Community Mile Races: Everyone's welcome to join in on the fun. There's more than 5Ks, half marathons, and marathons. Go back to the classic and see what you can run for a mile on the track.

For all events, we aim to provide multiple sections as needed (depending on entries) so every runner will be racing with their athletic peers.
