Event Description

Enjoy a beautiful lake side run around Litchfield Park.  The race is a flat-coursed and chip timed event staffed by Scouts with support from adult volunteers.  100% of the proceeds go to fund Scouting activities including summer camps and high adventure camps for the active Scouts in our Troop.  The top 3 male and female finishers in each age group will receive awards immediately after crossing the finish line.

5K Begins at 8:00am

1 Mile Begins at 8:30am

Event details and schedule

March 22nd is the 8th annual BSA Scout Troop 99 5K, 10K Run and 1-mile fun run.  
 
This is our 8th year hosting this event that you will want to return to year after year.  
The race is a flat-coursed and chip timed event, staffed by the Boy Scouts
with support from adult volunteers.
 
The first race will begin at 7:30AM on March 22nd.

100% of the proceeds for this race go to fund Scouting activities including
summer camps, and high adventure camps for the active Scouts in our Troop.  

The top 3 male and female in person finishers in each age group will receive awards.  Awards will be handed out immediately crossing the finish line.  An awards ceremony will also take place after all events are completed if you wish to stay and hear your name called.  No awards will be mailed this year.  

The race options are as follows:
1-mile fun run - For kids and adults/parents that want a little fresh air
5K - Enjoy our scenic 5K course while running or walking
10K - Looking for a bigger challenge
