Event Description

The inaugural Dash for Diabetes Awareness 5K & 1mi RUN or WALK is happening on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at 9am at the Mesilla Plaza.  This event aims to raise crucial funds for Southern New Mexico Diabetes Outreach in honor of November World Diabetes Awareness Month. The Southern NM Diabetes Outreach (SNMDO) is a nonprofit 501c3 organization with a mission to serve southern NM by providing access to diabetes detection, prevention, education, and support. With a vision to bring community awareness, promote healthy futures, and support people living with diabetes. Please consider joining us in our fight to combat diabetes in southern New Mexico and ignite awareness across our region. Go blue in November!

Race date: Saturday, November 16, 2024

Time: 9am to 12pm.  Registration closes at 9am.

1 Mi "Fun Walk" begins at 9:15 am. 

5K (3.1 Mi) begins at 9:20 am. 

Health fair from 9am to 12pm.
