Young Life Best Day Ever 5K - Connecting kids and Christ in Bedford County
Start Time: 9:00 am
Place: Bedford County Technical Center, 195 Pennknoll Road, Everett, PA 15537
Did you ever want to be a Cross County star, well now is your chance to try! Come join us for a 5K on the Bedford High School Cross Country course to support Bedford County Young Life.
The race will start and end at the Bedford County VoTech. Runners will start with a full loop on the field behind the Tech Center (1 mile). They will then continue down to the Snake Spring Township Recreation Park (.25 miles) for a full loop around the Rec Park (1 mile). Runners will then return to the field behind the Tech Center (.25 miles) for another half loop around the field (.5 miles) to the finish.
Please note that this course does have hills and the entire course will be on grass and therefore may be muddy, wet, slippery, etc. Please plan accordingly.
Included in your $30.00 registration fee is a goodie bag and the most awesome Young Life Best Day Ever T-shirt. To ensure you receive a T-shirt, please register by October 7, 2024.
The tot race for ages 2-6 will follow the 5K. Kiddos will receive a goodie bag.
Online registration ends October 18, 2024. Participants can also register the day of the race starting at 8 AM, but will not be guaranteed a T-shirt after October 7. A limited number of goodie bags will also be available for day of registrants.
There will be awards for overall male and female winner and age group race winners as well.
We are also hosting a pickleball social play fundraiser following the 5K at Snake Spring Recreation Park. Babe’s food truck will set up from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm with multiple food options for your convenience. Make a day of it at the Young Life Best Day Ever!
