Event Description
Join us for the inaugural Baseline Blitz 5k run/walk! The Northville Educational Foundation and the Novi Educational Foundation have partnered to bring you a fantastic community 5k run/walk. The Baseline Blitz kicks off rivalry week between the two districts with a 5k run/walk on Sunday, October 13th, and culminates with the Baseline Blitz Tailgate on Friday, October 18th before the Novi vs. Northville football game. The race will be held at the 8 Mile stadium in Northville (formerly Tom Holzer Field). The 5k run/walk will start at 9:00 am and the kids dash will take place at 10:00 am. This is a family friendly event, all ages and abilities are welcome to participate.

Pricing: 5K run/walk is $30 until 10/12, $35 on race day (on-line registration only). Kids dash is $10 until 10/12, $15 on race day (on-line registration only).
Family Discount: We are offering a 10% family discount when 3 or more people from the same household register together. This is valid for the 5k run/walk only.
All participants will run/walk together in one 5k run/walk event. Register for whichever district/educational foundation you are supporting, this just gives us an idea who is running for which community.
Race Swag: Participants in both the 5k run/walk and kids dash will receive a t-shirt if registered by September 30th. Supplies will be limited after that date. Adult and Youth sizes available.
Awards: 5k run/walk Overall Male & Female winners, Overall Male & Female Master winners (40+), First place in Male & Female age groups 12 and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Course: The race will start and finish on the track at the 8 Mile stadium (formerly Tom Holzer field). Please see a full course description and map at the top of the page, or the left side menu on your mobile device.
Packet Pickup: Early packet pickup - Saturday, October 12th from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the 8 mile stadium. Race day packet pickup and registration will be held race day morning starting at 7:30 am at the race location, 8 Mile stadium.
Schedule: The 5k run/walk will start at 9:00 am. The kids dash will take place on the track and will start at 10:00 am.
Results: You'll receive a text shortly after you cross the line with your results. We'll also post QR codes that you can scan and pull up your results in real time at the event. The kids dash is a non-timed fun run event.
Volunteers: If you are interested in volunteering for the event, click HERE for available opportunities. We need help at early packet pickup, race day packet pickup and registration, handing out awards, refreshments, course marshals and help with the kids dash.
Proceeds: Proceeds from this event go directly back into our communities thru the Novi Educational Foundation and the Northville Educational Foundation. Visit the donate tab to learn more about the fantastic work they both do for our students and communities.
