Cannon Ball Run
Start your new running year off with a BANG!
January 4, 2025 on beautiful Amelia Island
Sunrise start at Main Beach Park, 32 N. Fletcher, Fernandina Beach, FL
Wrap up the holiday season and start your new year off right by joining the Amelia Island Runners for the inaugural Cannon Ball Run on scenic Amelia Island. The fun flat 5k and half marathon courses will take you through the sights of Amelia Island. The final miles of the half marathon course will take you through one of the most beautiful and historic roads through Ft. Clinch State Park, out past the cannons, and down to the finish line. The race will start and finish at the oceanfront Main Beach Park just steps from the sand.
This race marks the return of a winter race event hosted by the Amelia Island Runners, Inc (AIR). AIR has been the local running club on Amelia Island since 2004 and we are passionate about sharing our love of running Amelia Island. Following a short break after 10 years of staging the Reindeer Run, AIR is pleased to bring this new race to the island for locals, First Coast residents, and visitors to NE Florida.
