Event Description

Sponsored by the Frederick High School Cross Country Teams, the event raises money for the program, including scholarships to graduating team seniors.  In 2024, we awarded 4 scholarships to our graduating runners!  The race begins and finishes in the FHS Stadium!

Come dressed in your best Halloween Costume! (optional)

Event details and schedule

RACE DETAILS:

*Check in and Start at Frederick High School

*Check in:   8:00am on front steps of FHS

*1K Fun Run:  9:30am at FHS Stadium

*5K:  10:00am at FHS Stadium

*$20 per entry for the 5K event, postmarked by 10/15/24.  After 10/15/24 and on Race Day, entry fee is $25 per entry.

*$10 per entry for the 1K Fun Run (no t-shirt for the 1K race)

*Accurate, flat, and fast course on FHS roads and Baker Park path.  Course has been certified!

PRIZES!

*1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Finishers for the 5K in the following groups:  Men's and Women's Open, 13-U, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

AWARDS!

5K:  Scariest Most Creative, Best Combo

1K:  Cutest, Most Creative, Best Parent/Child Combo

ALL FINISHERS AGES 13-U in BOTH THE 5K AND 1K EVENTS WILL RECEIVE MEDALS.
