Get Ready for the General and the Mrs. 5K & Beer Mile at Omaha Brewing!

We’re thrilled to invite you back for an unforgettable day of running, brewing, and celebrating at the General and the Mrs. 5K & Beer Mile, hosted once again by Omaha Brewing and Project 42 Running. We are bringing a lot of excitement to our picturesque trail course, all in support of House of Heroes, CVC.

Join us at Omaha Brewing in beautiful Omaha, Georgia, where the fun begins with a 5K run through the brewery grounds and surrounding fields. As well as a  legendary Beer Mile! I mean we can't really have a run at a brewery without a beer mile, right? Not a beer fan? No problem! You can still join in the fun with our Ginger Ale Mile option.

Oh! And did we mention that you get to enjoy a leisurely start time of 10 AM. That’s right, you can sleep in before lacing up for a 5K. We also set the start times up in such a way that you might choose to run both races. That is 2 medals and twice the fun! 

Event Details:

Packet Pickup: 9 AM at Omaha Brewing, 265 Brew Street, Omaha, Georgia
5K Start: 10 AM sharp
Beer Mile / Ginger Ale Mile Start: 11 AM

NOTE: YOU CAN ABSOLUTELY REGISTER FOR BOTH EVENTS IF YOU SO CHOOSE.    

After your run, stick around for a fantastic afternoon at the brewery. We’ve got food trucks, live music, games, and of course, the unbeatable brewery atmosphere. And don’t forget—every finisher will receive a stylish General and the Mrs. medal to commemorate your achievement.

Hydration is key, so we’ll have plenty of water and CeraSport on hand to help you rehydrate after the race and your beer (or ginger ale) indulgence.
