Event Description

You are cordially invited to a night full of traditions, fun, and comraderies!
The NASL Navy Ball Committee 2024 is honored to host this annual celebration of the Navy’s birthday onboard Naval Air Station Lemoore.

"On 13 October 1775, resolution of the Continental Congress established what is now the United States Navy. After the American War of Independence, the U.S. Constitution empowered the new Congress “to provide and maintain a navy.” Acting on this authority, Congress established the Department of the Navy on 30 April 1798. In 1972, Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt authorized official recognition of 13 October as the birthday of the U.S. Navy. Since then, each CNO has encouraged a Navy-wide celebration of this occasion “to enhance a greater appreciation of our Navy heritage, and to provide a positive influence toward pride and professionalism in the naval service.”

 

NAVY BALL ATTIRE:
Military: Service Dress Blues with the wear of ribbons, if possessed, attendees may wear Dinner Dress with medals.
Dual-Military: One member from each couple will wear service dress blues with ribbons or higher. The second member/guest will follow the DON Civilian and beneficiaries authorized wear.
DON Civilian and beneficiaries:  Business formal (suite and dress) or higher.

 

NAVY BALL 2024 MENU 
The menu is as follows: Choose an entree between Roasted Tri-Tip with Au Jus, Sesame Glazed Cornish Hen, or Vegetable Lasagna, Garlic Roasted Potatoes, Buttered Sweet Hot Rolls, Green Bean Almondine, Garden Salad (Italian or Ranch), and Beverage Options

RETIREE TICKET SALES:     
If you are Navy Retiree/Retired and would like to purchase ticket, please select on the appropriate rank above and email julia.garcia31.mil@us.navy.mil and  justin.d.shields.mil@us.navy.mil your name, retired rank, and retiree date for verification. (PLEASE EMAIL THE REQUIRED FIELD YO BOTH OF THEM).

IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. With each ticket purchase, you will have a choice of your entree, and you will be receiving a door prize. 
2. ​The RunSignUp works as an honor system. However, please pay with your appropriate paygrade and your guests' prices because we have administrative roster to make sure that you pay for the appropriate amount. Failure to do so will result in the committee contacting you to pay the balance of your ticket separately. 
3. SPUDS will be providing alcohol, but they will be purchased by the attendees separately at the bar, please have a plan!
6. All ticket sales are final, and are non-refundable.
