The Folsom Lake Sprint and Super Sprint Triathlons are at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake offering a lake swim, scenic bike courses closed to traffic, and trail runs along the lake.

Folsom Lake Triathlons

Granite Beach, Folsom Lake 

The Folsom Lake Sprint and Super Sprint Triathlons are USAT Sanctioned for 2025, and take place at beautiful Granite Beach, Folsom Lake, each featuring a lake swim, scenic road bike on country roads and a beautiful trail run.

Included for each competitor is a swim cap, post race refreshments and custom Folsom Lake Triathlon Running Hat. 

Commemorative Folsom Lake Triathlon race t-shirts are available for $20 when ordered before May 4th. 

First place Male and Female in the Folsom Lake Sprint and Super Sprint Triathlon will receive Overall Champion Awards. There will be awards three deep in each five-year age group for both races, and Relay Team awards for the Top team in each Division of Male, Female and Coed for the Sprint Triathlon.

 

Distances

Folsom Lake Super Sprint Triathlon - 400 yard swim-4.2 mile bike-2 mile run.

Folsom Lake Sprint Triathlon - 1/2 mile swim-12.6 mile bike-3 mile run.

Relay Teams

Relay Teams awards will be for top three in male, female and coed divisions for the Folsom Lake Sprint Triathlon.  

Packet Pick Up Information

Packet Pick-up for the Sprint & Super Sprint Triathlons will be race morning at the race venue from 6:30 a.m. until 9 a.m.

Start Times:

Folsom Lake Super Sprint Triathlon - 8 a.m. with waves to be announced. 

Folsom Lake Sprint Triathlon - 9 a.m. with waves to be announced. 

 

Transition Area

The Transition area will be on a first-come basis, with the exception of Reserved Bike Racks for TRI Clubs. The transition area at all TBF Racing events is for athletes only. All non-athletes must remain outside of the transition area at all times on race day. Bodymarking will be take place at the entrance to the transition area and must be completed before you enter the transition area. Athletes will have their race number marked on their legs and arms and have their age division on their calf. Glass or bottles are not allowed in the transition area.

Race for FREE Information

Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $50 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing Volunteers@totalbodyfitness.com as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.

Refund and Transfer Information 

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Race transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Participant transfers are allowed for this event, with a $25 fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.
