Help save the manatee!

Join 1,600 participants from around the world by participating in the 21st Annual Save the Manatee 5K.

100% of the proceeds are donated to the Save the Manatee Club.

The Michigan in-person Save the Manatee 5K, Two Mile Walk and Manatee Mini Mile will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024. Run or walk in support of manatees at Lake St. Clair Metropark, Harrison Township, Michigan.

With the Virtual Save the Manatee 5K, you can participate from anywhere in the world on the date and time you choose. You pick your activity and distance; run, walk, bike, swim, kayak, scuba or hike at your convenience. Registration for the virtual event will be open through December 31st, 2024 and you can complete your activity at any time.

In-person and Virtual registration both include a Manatee Unisex Cotton/Polyester Blend T-shirt, an Amazing Manatee Finisher Medal and Race Bib.

How to participate in the Michigan in-person event: Join us Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Lake St. Clair Metropark, Harrison Township, Michigan. The mini mile starts at 9 a.m. and the 5K and walk begin at 9:30 a.m.

How to complete the virtual event: Complete your event anytime and anywhere. You choose how you want to support manatees and upload your times!

This is our 21st year proudly partnering with the Save the Manatee Club. As a non-profit and with amazing manatee participants, we have donated $409,000 to the Save the Manatee Club!
