Event Description

The Nomads are proud present King of the Crag 2024  Saturday, October 12h. This will mark the 11th annual climbing competition held at the beautiful Jamestown Crag. We are back this year with a great list of sponsors, awesome prizes, cool swag, food, drinks and entertainment. This is the only fund raising event for the Jamestown Crag, so please join us for an exciting weekend of climbing, camping & community, all while helping to support the growth of climbing and outdoor recreation in Arkansas.     

Sport Climbing Competition

Point Based:(each route is given a score based on rating, height and overall diffculity)

3 Divisions:

Recreational - (5.6-5.9)

Advanced - (5.10-5.11A)

Rock God - (5.11B-5.13+)

Top 5 red-point climbs (no falls or hanging) count for the day. In case of a tie, the 6th, 7th, 8th, and so on... routes climbed will count.

Friday- Oct.11th

Climbers are encourged to arrive and camp the day before to prepare for the competition.

Saturday- Oct. 12th

Climbing will begin at 10:00am and last till 4:00pm

Food & Drinks provided when climbers check in

After party and awards ceremony will follow.
