2024 Run for the Rescues
5K Fun Run, 1 Mile Walk and Costume Contest
October 27th, 2024, 8:00am, Amos Herr Park
**Online registration will close on 10/20/24. Day of registrations only after that date. Day of race registration is cash or check only**

Get ready for a day of fun, fitness, and furry friends at the Run for the Rescues! This heartwarming event features a 5K race and a 1-mile fun walk to support Hempfield RecCenter and Lancaster SPCA. It’s the perfect opportunity for families, friends, and pets to come together for a great cause!

Event Highlights:
- 5K Race: Challenge yourself on a scenic course through Amos Herr Park.
- 1 Mile Fun Walk: Enjoy a leisurely stroll with family and pets, suitable for all ages.
- Dog-Friendly: Bring your four-legged friends along! We’ve got treats and activities to keep them happy.
- Costume Contest: Dress up for a chance to win prizes in the following categories:
- Best Dog Costume
- Best Owner/Dog Costume Combo
Registration Fees:
- Ages 13 and Up: $25 (Early Bird), $30 (Day-of Registration, cash or check only)
- Ages 6-12: $10 (Early Bird), $15 (Day-of Registration, cash or check only)
- Ages 5 and Under: Free
Location: Amos Herr Park - 1700 Nissley Road, Landisville PA, 17538
Proceeds: All funds raised will support the Hempfield RecCenter and Lancaster SPCA, benefiting our community and animals in need.
