Event Description

We are so excited for another great year!  Our goal is to set a positive environment so that all runners feel safe and can run for fun!  We will be following the Road Runners Club of America program (www.RRCA.org).  Every week we will have a new lesson.  These include:

• Concepts of walking, jogging, running and sprinting
• Concepts of warm-up, pacing, cool-down and stretching
• Physiology and good form
• Eating healthy
• Safety
• Good sportsmanship and encouraging others

Join us at 7 pm on August 25 at Anneberg Park for a parents meeting and meet your coaches! Kids will get their shirts and parents will get more information.  Our season starts Monday, August 26 and will ‘run’ for 6 weeks, every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5:45-6:30 pm!
