Event Description

Join us in Springfield Nebraska on Saturday October 12th for the inaugural Run the Platte Half & 5K. 

Registration

Includes: professional timing, long-sleeved running shirt, custom finisher medal, snacks, age group and overall awards.

**Shirts and sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after September 20th** 

Race Day info

• Half Start Time: 8:00AM
• 5K Start Time: 8:15AM
• Start/Finish Location: MoPac trailhead parking lot on the corner of NE-50 & NE-31
• Arrival: Be at the starting line 10 minutes before your start time.

Course

• Out and back on the MoPac Trail. The MoPac is a reclaimed rail line made up of crushed limestone. The Half Marathon course will cross the Platte River and continue along Cass County dirt roads. 
• Aid Stations: approximately every 2 miles and will include water, Gatorade, snacks & band-aids 
• Time Limit: 4 Hours (12:00pm cutoff)

Inclement Weather - Race will be held rain or shine. Race may be canceled/postponed if conditions present potential danger to participants.
