Event Description

Ready, set. run for the beans!  Please join us on Saturday, September 7th for a family fun run/walk presented by Martin Running Company to celebrate Soybean Festival Weekend!  Martin Running Company is ready to celebrate Soybean Saturday with a run, walk, skip, or stroll "Run For The Beans" on Saturday September 7th @ 8AM with check-in beginning at 7:00am. "Run For The Beans" will start at Martin Running Company and continue to the Brian Brown Greenway and return back to Martin Running Company. This is a free event that is welcome to all ages and abilities but will require online registration for each participant. The event distance is just under 4 miles; however, prizes will be awarded for participation and participants can complete the distance that they are comfortable with. For extra added fun, a "First Finisher Prize" will be given to the individual that completes the Greenway and is first across the finish line. This a fun, laid back event, that EVERYONE is welcome to participate in!

Weather Policy

We are hoping for a beautiful Soybean Saturday. However, the safety of our participants is of great importance. In the event of adverse conditions (tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, heavy rain, or any other extreme weather conditions), the Race Director, in communication with the local law enforcement and the city, may delay the event, cancel the event, or make changes to the event.
