Event Description

Rallying 4 Rodger 5K and Fun Run will be held at Sharecroppers Coffee, in Snead, and will benefit one of our own.  Rodger Armstrong is tied to Sharecroppers in more ways than most, His daughter Olivia was an employee of ours while home from Auburn University for her summer break. The Armstrong family is also an extension of our blood family. Rodger was able to achieve some milestone fitness goals recently and being able to complete our Thankful 4 5K was one of them.  However, Rodger recently became diagnosed with advanced Melanoma Cancer and to add to an already scary situation his spinal cord was injured during surgery.  He currently is learning to walk again.  Roger and his family have a long road ahead of them and we would like to help ease their financial burdens.  Sick leave and time off work has diminished, yet Rodger's needs continue. Sharecroppers Coffee is humbled and excited to help support Rodger and his family during this time.  The route will be very similar to last years Thankful 4 5k, and we hope it helps each participant move one step closer to their own personal goals, while supporting a family in need and striving to get back to a healthy living condition.  If you cannot participate and would still like to help, click the "donate" tab.  Every cent of the money raised will be going straight to the Armstrongs!  Thank-you for your support!
