Event Description

This 5K race continues the tradition started in 1989 commemorating the history of the Highview/ Frogtown area of Jefferson County, KY. With the heightened awareness of the benefits of the WHAS Crusade for Children, the Firefighters and EMS personnel of Highview Fire, and Miss Kate Nason have turned this event into an extension of their desire to help the community.

Event details and schedule

Race day is Saturday September 14, 2024 at 8am, please arrive bewteen 7:00am - 7:45am. The course will consist of gentle rolling hills and flats run on paved roads. Participants may park in the back lot of the firehouse and in the neighboring shopping centers next to and across from the firehouse. All pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt. Awards and door prizes will be given out after the race.
