Event Description

Join us for the third annual Pedaling for Pups bike ride, to support Deep South Canine Rescue's efforts to change the lives of countless dogs.  Your generous support is vital for helping to reduce the suffering of abused, abandoned, and discarded canines.

Soak up the view as you enjoy the beautiful rural roads with rest stops and a meal at the conclusion. Roads will be well marked with paw print stencils to follow.  Three distance options are available:   5, 35 or 68 mile routes. YOU MUST REGISTER NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 13, 2024 TO GUARANTEE A T-SHIRT.

Following the event, enjoy a meal at Ellaville Methodist Church, compliments of Deep South Canine Rescue. 

After lunch, head over to enjoy Andersonville Civil War town for reenactments, the annual fall festival and the Andersonville National Historic Site.

Event details and schedule

Each of the 3 rides begins at Ellaville Methodist Church on S. Broad Street in downtown Ellaville.  Plenty of parking is available at the church and across the street at the bank. 

The 35 mile route will have 2 rest stops (only Andersonville stop has restrooms).

The 68 mile route will have 5 rest stops (only Welcome Baptist Church and Andersonville have restrooms)

All riders who register the day of the event must sign a waiver. On line registrants will sign the online waiver.

Registrations will be accepted on the day of the event, but a t shirt is not guaranteed.

PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR RIDE START TIME.
