AFTER 5 YEARS OFF - ALGER HEIGHTS HALLOWEEN 5K IS BACK!

Come run, jog, walk, or stroll with us at the 12th Alger Heights Halloween 5K on Saturday, October 26th!
Costumes are encouraged at this family friendly event!
All 5K participants are chip timed as they run through scenic Alger Heights during peak fall colors. 

KIDS FUN RUN AND COSTUME CONTEST INFORMATION TO COME!

Start Time: 

10 AM

Entry Fee: 
  • Early Registration through September 8th - $30 (includes long sleeve race t-shirt)
  • From September 9th to October 13th - $35 (includes long sleeve race t-shirt)
  • From October 14th to October 25th - $40 (long sleeve t-shirts included while supplies last)
  • Race Day Registration is $45 

Youth pricing: Ages 18 and under are only $25 until October 13th, includes a t-shirt. $30 from October 14th-October 25th, t-shirts included while supplies last.

Family pricing: When 3 or more people sign up at the same time they receive $3 off a participant.

Results: 

Your accurate chip time and current overall and age group place will be texted to your phone and live on this site. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.

Age Group Awards:

Awards will be available race day starting at 10:30 am.

Course:

The historic Alger Heights Halloween 5k loop is back! Going through many of the parts of the Alger Heights neighborhood that you have come to love. This year the course will start and end on Alger St. in front of the parking lot behind the business district on the east side of Eastern Ave. For those who love chasing Strava segements, the route has three: the Walsh 1/2 mi, Union EasyUp, and the South Ottillia. All proceeds from the race go to the Alger Heights Business Association. These funds will be held separately by AHBA for future races, Alger Heights events, and neighborhood improvements.
