XTERRA Crystal Cove
December 11, 2016
Race #3 takes place at CRYSTAL COVE STATE PARK, which is located five miles south of Newport Beach and/or five miles north of Laguna Beach on December 11, 2016. The race features two distances – an introductory 6k trail run and a longer 15k trail run for the more experienced runner. This all takes place on fire roads and single track trails in the El Moro area of Crystal Cove State Park. Race field is limited, so enter early.
Please note that both the 15k course and 6k course close at 11:00 a.m., so you must finish before then!

Packet Pick Up & Race Day Registration
Packet Pick Up (shirt/chip/bib) and Race Day Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. at the race site.
YOU MUST BRING PROOF OF REGISTRATION TO PICK UP YOUR BIB! This includes: registration email, credit card statement or email confirmation from Generic Events. No Exceptions!

15k will be split into 2 waves (5 minutes apart)
We recommend that you arrive 1 hour before start of event to allow adequate time for parking, packet pickup and warmup.

There are plenty of local accommodations in Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Irvine, and surrounding areas.
Directions / Parking
The event is at CRYSTAL COVE STATE PARK, just 10 minutes south of Newport Beach in Orange County, CA. The park is located off Pacific Coast Highway between Corona del Mar and Laguna Beach, California with easy access from I-5, 405 and 73.
From the 405 South, take the 73 South to Macarthur Blvd. Take this to PCH and go south to El Moro/Crystal Cove State Park. Turn left into the park and follow the signs!Parking is $15.00 at the State Parks. Correct change is appreciated. Support your State Parks and park in the lots (and don’t park in the dirt)!
From South OC – take PCH to the Park. Or the 73 Toll Road if you wish (exit El Toro and take this to Laguna Beach). Once you reach PCH – turn north to Crystal Cove State Park.
