Event Description
Join Special Olympics Northern California for the Bay Area’s coolest event of the year – the San Francisco 5K/10K Run for Special Olympics. This timed run will take you on a beautiful course, where you’ll enjoy majestic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Chrissy Field and the Bay! Each participant will receive a finisher medal and first through third place awards presented to top finishers in each age category.
This event is part of the San Francisco 5K/10K & Polar Plunge event. Participants are encouraged to dress in costume!

8:30a.m. - 5K/10K Registration Open
9:45a.m. - Opening Ceremony
10a.m. - 5K/10K Run Begins & Plunge Registration Opens
10:30a.m. - Meal service beings for those who raise $125 or more
11:30a.m. - All racers clear the course
11:40a.m. - Costume Judging and Awards
12 noon - PLUNGE

Want to do more for Special Olympics? Sign up to also do the Polar Plunge! All registered participants who pay the 5K/10K registration fee AND raise a minimum of $125 will receive a Polar Plunge t-shirt and lunch.
