Event Description

Swim Faster with Less Effort! Join expert swim & triathlon coaches Brett & Cristina Caldwell of OutFront Multisport for this indoor swim clinic designed to help you swim faster with less effort. Over three hours of on-deck and in-pool coaching, you'll master the five key elements of efficient freestyle. Each key will be broken down into targeted drills and technique work to improve your form, speed, and ease in the water.

 

In addition, we'll be working some dryland/strength and pre-hab work for healthy shoulders and core and...after several years of being asked...flipturns. So if you've always wanted to learn how to do flipturns, now is your time. 

 

*Athletes need to bring fins-short fins or long fins to the clinic for use with our drills. At the pool we'll have kickboards for you to use. Athletes are welcome to bring snorkels if they find them helpful for drills.

Athletes will also be receiving an electronic swimming guidebook (PDF) and 8 weeks of swimming workouts to focus on their technique and speed (at no additional cost). 

 

If athletes want to take it one step further and really gain momentum for the upcoming season, you'll want to sign up for a swim analysis. The swim analysis is a separate cost, however when purchased together with the clinic you'll receive a large discount to a stand alone video analysis . The video analysis will be held on Friday evening from 6-7:00pm. Each athlete will be given a slot for video within a 60min time frame. Once the video is completed, it will be analyzed and a recording sent out. You will also receive a list of drills to help you continue with your progress.
