Event Description

New this year, we have added a 10K Race.

Please join us for the Annual Run for the Children hosted by The Service League of Cherokee County.  The race will be held at Etowah River Park in Canton GA.  

The 5K race is an Official Atlanta Journal Constitution Peachtree Road Race Event.  The USATF Certification is #GA18043WC

Early Packet Pickup will be at The Holler 301 W Main Street, Canton GA on December 1st between 5PM-7PM

Race Day Registration and packet pickup begins at 7AM

Fun Run starts at 8AM

5K and 10K starts at 8:30AM

The 5K is a Peachtree Qualifying race. Certification #GA18043WC

Shirts are guaranteed if registrated before 10/30/23.  Registrations received from that date through race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Finish line management and results are provided by BT Race Timing with results posted to Active.com, BTRaceTiming.com Athlinks.com and RunGeorgia.com

5K and 10K Awards will be presented to top 3 Overall Male and Female, 1 Overall Masters Male and Female plus standard age groups beginning with 10 and Under up to 70 and Over.

In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. Race may be postponed up to 1 hour in event of dangerous weather or cancelled.  Sorry, no refund
