Event Information:
The SGM Foster Memorial Ruck will take place on the morning of September 28th, 2023. All Service Members at Fort Leonard Wood are invited to attend this ruck to honor the life and service of SGM Foster. Learn about SGM Foster and his legacy provided by the EOD Warrior Foundation HERE.
- Service Members are encourage to carry at least 35lbs (dry)
- All participants must have a water source
- All participants are encouraged to bring a white or red light / headlamp
- Awards will be given out to top individual finishers as well as top unit finishers

- Who: Open to ALL Fort Leonard Wood units & Soldiers
- What: 6.3-mile ruck march on FLW roads
- When: 0500 on September 28, 2023
- Where: At 763D EOD company area (co-located with Bravo Company 554th Engineer Battalion at Bldg 11470 Big Piney Rd, FLW)
- Why: To honor the life and legacy of SGM Kenneth Foster, who is one among many servicemembers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of others
