Event Description
Join the Lake George Land Conservancy for the 7th Annual Amy’s Adventure Race for the Lake, set to take place on Saturday, September 30th, 2023! This 4.5-mile trail race takes you through Amy's Park, a beautiful preserve nestled in the Adirondacks that offers challenging and rugged terrain with 580 feet of elevation gain amidst ponds, marshes, and forests. For more information on the race, please click here.
Proceeds will support the conservation work of the Lake George Land Conservancy. Our mission is to protect the land within the Lake George watershed to preserve the world-renowned water quality of this amazing lake. The proceeds from this race specifically will go to our Indian Brook & Northwest Bay Conservation Initiative, an ongoing effort by the LGLC to conserve lands in this highly sensitive region of the Lake George Watershed. Since 1988, the LGLC has protected more than 2,520 acres of land in the area. Protecting wetland areas like Amy’s Park is the primary way pollutants are filtered out of the water before it reaches Lake George.
