Event Description
Join Special Olympics Northern California for the Bay Area’s coolest event of the year – the San Francisco 5K/10K Run for Special Olympics. This timed run will take you on beautiful course, where you’ll enjoy majestic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Chrissy Field and the Bay! Each participant will receive a finisher medal and first through third place awards presented to top finihers in each age category..
This event is part of the San Francisco 5K/10K & Polar Plunge event. Participants are encouraged to dress in costume!

8:30a.m. - 5K?10K Registration Open
9:45a.m. - Opening Ceremony
10a.m. - 5K/10K Run Begins & Plunge Registration Opens
10:30a.m. - Meal service beings for those who raise $125 or more
11:30a.m. - All racers clear the course
11:40a.m. - Costume Judging and Awards
12 noon - PLUNGE

Want to do more for Special Olympics? Sign up to also do the Polar Plunge! All registered participants who pay the 5K/10K registration fee AND raise a minimum of $125 will receive a Polar Plunge t-shirt and lunch.
