Coastal Edge ECSC 5K 
DATE: Sunday, August 28, 2022
START TIME: 7:00 am

LOCATION: 5th Street on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk

 Enjoy a  beautiful run on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk during The 60th Annual Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships Presented by Vans. All finishers will receive a custom medal and a prize package will be awarded to the first overall male and female finishers. The race will start between 4th and 5th street on the boardwalk in front of Watermans. On-site registration will be under the Coastal Edge tent near the start line on the boardwalk. Enjoy the fast, flat, and out and back course along the Virginia Beach Boardwalk with a view of the morning sun over the scenic oceanfront. Course marshals will be positioned at key points and a water station will be set up near the turnaround. Pro surf and skate competitions will be underway shortly after the race, not to mention all the other CE ECSC events. All events are free and open to attend.

Online registration: 
$35 until August 23, 2022, at midnight

$40 walk-up registration at start line under Coastal Edge tent from 6 am-6:30 am on race morning

Packet pickup will include a PRE Race aloha party with a Mr and Miss ECSC Pageant, 
Spam Jam skate contest, Spam Eating Contest, PACIFICO beer, and dinner from Aloha Snacks.

Inclement Weather
Applicants acknowledge that they are participating in an outdoor event, which is subject to sudden changes in weather, including thunderstorms, high winds, etc. Applicant acknowledges that no refunds will be made as a result of inclement weather during Coastal Edge ECSC 5k.
