Event Description

The Big Red Apple Festival 5K is BACK! After a couple of years off, we're bringing back one of NE Georgia's favorite races and running in the afternoon (1:00 p.m.) in downtown Cornelia (Cornelia City Park).

We'll have you a good looking race shirt, good awards (14 age groups from 10 & under to 70 & over in 5-year increments as well as Overall and Overall Masters awards - 88 awards in total), postrace food and fluids and of course, the famous Big Red Apple Festival in downtown Cornelia (at the statue!).

Event details and schedule

The fun begins with the 1:00 p.m. 5K race with packet pickup/late registration beginning at noon at Cornelia City Park. Come early or stay late and plan to attend the Big Red Apple Festival - lots of arts, crafts and fun!
