WHAT: 2024 Kit Carson Turkey Tango 5K, SOLO-Half, Half-Marathon relay & Marathon relay
WHERE: Kit Carson Park - Escondido CA
WHEN: Sunday November 17th - 8:30am
EVENT CHECK IN: Race day check-in (6:30am - 8:15am)
Features:

- Multiple Marathon team divisions to compete in: Open, Club, School, Corporate, Recreational, and Masters
- Marathon and Half-Marathon Team of 5 Relay (5 teammates - less than 5 allowed. Minimum of 3. See Q&A for details)
- Marathon and Half-Marathon Team of 2 Relay (2 Teammates only)
- 5K Run (adult and youth age-groups)
- Chip-timed live online results, live onsite screen for laps and times for all relay teams and 5k participants
- Scenic 2.62 mile trail/pavement style course, mostly flat with gentle rolling hills
- The course consists of approximately 40% wide smooth trail - 60% paved blacktop and sidewalk
- Awards for all events, Tech-T shirts, finisher medals and finsher certificates (online and printable)
- Team picnics welcome and dog friendly (keep on leash at all times!)
- Youth activities provided by award-winning teacher "Miss Mary Lou" (See Q&A for details)!
- Save on registration processing fees as only Team Captains need to register on Active.com!
Please note: For all relay teams - only the team captain needs to signup and pay the team fee on the registration site
Entry fees:
Marathon relay (Team of 5)* - Early bird $160.00 Until 07/01
Half-Marathon relay (Team of 5 and Recreational division only)* - Early bird - $135.00 Until 07/01
(*Note: Team of 5 Marathon/Half-Marathon Teams (5 teammates is the norm, however a minimum of down to 3 are allowed. The entry price is the same regardless of the number of teammembers). See the Q & A page for more information.
Marathon relay (2 runners per team): Early bird $90.00 Until 07/01
Half-Marathon relay (2 runners per team): Early bird $70.00 Until 07/01
Solo Half-Marathon - $55.00 Until 07/01
Turkey Tango 5K - Early Bird $35.00 Until 07/01
Check in procedure for Teams:

All teammates must be present with the team captain when checking in race day!

All teammates must sign a waiver. Save time and click HERE to print a waiver for each teammate and bring the waivers with you to the check in.

Your team will not receive their bibs and baton until all waivers are turned in at check in on race day!
