Event Description

The Front Street Mile is in its 21st year on the beautiful island of Maui.  This flat, out and back, course along the shoreline in the old whalers town of Lahaina is one of the most popular races on Maui.  Narrow streets and packed crowds in this historical area, makes this a great race for not only the hundreds of kids, but the adults to. We are very happy to have Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar as our presenting sponsor again!!!  Expect some great medals, t-shirts, and also some fun swag.

Event details and schedule

Packet Pick-up(Mandatory):  Septemebr 16th at Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar from 4-6pm outside the restaurant.

Race Day: 10k Start time-6:00am

                 5k Start time-6:05am

                Mile Start time-8:00am

Awards:   Medals for all participants.  Awards for male and female overall winners in 5k/10k & Mile.  

               Awards for top male and female in each age group category in 5k/10k.

Age Categories for 5k/10k:  under 17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+  

Mile Race Heats:  Under 6 Years old, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17, 18-49, 50+(Male and Female separate races) 

Courses:  All out and back flat courses

Start Line:  Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar at 900 Front Street, Lahaina(Outlets of Maui)

Parking: At Outlets of Maui

What to Bring:  Extra water(It does become hot in the later hours at times)
