Join us for the first ever Tour De Hawkins 5K on Vanderbilt University’s campus.
Grab your family, friends, coworkers, fellow Vandy fans and lace up for our military and veterans! The Hawkins Field Salute to Service 5K will take place as a part of the VandyBoys’ Salute to Service - Military Appreciation Weekend when they take on in-state rival Tennessee.
The Tour De Hawkins 5K is an awesome way to show your patriotism and support for those who have or continue to serve our country. So pull out those tennis shoes, start training, and get ready to support our warriors in uniform!

✬ WHEN: Saturday April 2nd, 2022 -- Start Time: 9:00 AM
✬ WHERE: Vanderbilt University, Hawkins Filed. The route will take place throughout several of the Vanderbilt Athletics facilities including Hawkins Field, Vanderbilt Stadium, Vanderbilt Outdoor Track Complex, the Soccer and Lacrosse Complex, and more. Experience Vanderbilt’s campus like never before!
✬ WHY: Be a part of bringing together veterans, civilians, and families of our fallen heroes. The goal of the first-ever Tour De Hawkins 5K is to say thank you to our military community while honoring those we've lost!
✬ WHO: Everyone is welcome! Bring your family, friends, and cheering section! We will have a cheering section set up inside Hawkins Field where your family and friends can watch you cross home plate!

✬ The Hawkins Field Salute to Service 5K is meant to HONOR our nation’s fallen heroes. HEAL the unseen wounds of war for both our surviving families and veterans. CONNECT surviving family members, veterans with the civilian community.
✬ 100% of your registration to benefit Memories of Honor.
✬ You can walk away knowing that you made a direct, lifelong, and meaningful impact on the lives of the families we serve.
👟 5K PARTICIPATION PERKS INCLUDE
✬ Event T-shirt
✬ Finisher Medal
✬ Fallen Hero Memorial Bib containing the name of a fallen service member
✬ The opportunity to write a note of love and gratitude to the fallen hero’s family and place it on our Wall of Gratitude. These will be sent to family at a later date.
✬ Anyone wishing to donate their medal back to the family of their fallen hero may do so. However this is not necessary.
